Are these gemstones sold separately in addition to a ring setting?
Yes. All stones in our Stone Catalog are loose gemstones and priced individually. The setting is sold separately, allowing you to pair your chosen stone with the design that best tells your story.
Do you sell or ship loose stones?
No. We don’t sell or ship loose gemstones on their own. Every stone in our collection is hand-selected specifically for custom designs and engagement ring settings. This ensures each gem is showcased in a way that highlights its beauty and is protected for everyday wear.
Can you hold a selected gemstone until I’m ready to purchase a setting?
We’re unable to place gemstones on hold without payment. However, once you purchase your stone, we’re happy to securely store it at our studio until you’re ready to move forward with the setting. This way, your gem is reserved exclusively for you and ready when the design process begins.
Can any stone work with any setting?
Not every stone is compatible with every setting. In each stone listing, we note which settings are a perfect fit for that particular gem. If you fall in love with a stone and have your heart set on a different design, we can often modify the setting to accommodate it. In those cases, the project becomes a custom engagement ring, tailored specifically to your stone and vision.
What if I can’t find a stone for a custom engagement ring idea?
Don’t worry—we specialize in sourcing unique, one-of-a-kind gemstones. If you don’t see the right stone in our catalog, our team will tap into our trusted network of cutters and vendors (including our annual Tucson Gem Show partners) to find options that fit your vision, budget, and timeline. We’ll present curated choices until we land on the perfect gem for your design.
What if I change my mind? Can I exchange or return a stone I purchased?
Because our gemstones are one-of-a-kind and individually sourced, all stone purchases are final sale. Once you select a stone and pair it with a setting, your project moves immediately into production so we can meet timelines and deliver your ring as quickly as possible.
Every CAD rendering and custom design drawing is created using the exact measurements of your stone—which means your gem becomes the foundation of your ring design. For this reason, it’s important to choose your stone thoughtfully.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help by sending additional videos of the stone in different lighting and on hands so you can feel confident before making your decision. And even if your vision evolves, your stone can always be reimagined into a custom engagement ring or another fine jewelry piece.
