Limited Lifetime Warranty
Your engagement ring is made to celebrate every chapter of your love story. That’s why we stand behind it with a Limited Lifetime Warranty—our commitment to durability, care, and peace of mind.
What’s Covered In the First Year
This warranty covers the cost of all repairs under normal wear for the first year after purchase date.
- Manufacturer Defects: Structural integrity of settings and overall craftsmanship.
- Loose Stones: We’ll re-secure any diamond or gemstone that loosens due to manufacturing defects.
- Loss of any melee stones 2mm or .05ct and under will be replaced at no additional charge.
- One complimentary ring resize
Note: If, within the first year, your piece is noticeably neglected - i.e. bent, broken, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, repair costs will be the responsibility of the client.
What’s Not Covered:
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, patina, oxidation)
- Chemical damage or discoloration
- Loss of stones due to impact or improper care
- Loss or theft
- Chain breakage
- Ring resizing beyond our one complimentary resize
- Rings altered, repaired or serviced by anyone outside of Bohemi will void the warranty
Note: Center Stones are not covered under our warranty-it is advisable to insure your jewelry as soon as possible. We'll provide all documentation for coverage.

Stone Certification
We believe you should know exactly what you're getting and why it matters. That’s why we provide independent stone certification for eligible center stones, and all the documentation you need for peace of mind and insurance coverage.
What You Receive:
- GIA Certification for natural diamonds 1 carat and up
- IGI Certification for lab-grown diamonds 1 carat and up
- Invoice Documentation for all stones (under 1 carat), including:
- Carat weight
- Cut, color, and clarity details
- Country and mine of origin (if known)
- Stone type (natural, lab-grown, heirloom)
- Treatments
- Metal type and ring replacement value
- Professional photographs
NOTE: if you are using heirloom stones in your design, we recommend getting those stones looked at by an appraiser before you start designing a new ring. We are not certified appraisers and therefore we cannot attribute any value to your heirloom stones in your final invoice for insurance
Why It Matters:
- The 4 Cs: Every certified diamond is assessed for Carat, Cut, Color, and Clarity—ensuring true value.
- Authenticity Assurance: Confirms whether your diamond is natural or lab-grown.
- Insurance-Ready: Certification helps streamline the process for securing independent jewelry insurance.
For many of our natural gemstones, we have GIA or AGS certifications or provenance documents, but not all. If you would like a grading report for a non-traditional stone, like a salt and pepper diamond or sapphire, we can arrange one upon request—just note it will add to your timeline and cost.

What does Bohemi’s Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty actually cover?
Our Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty protects against any manufacturing defects in your ring, such as structural issues with settings, prong security, or overall craftsmanship. We’ll also re-secure any stone that loosens due to a defect, and we provide complimentary annual cleaning and inspection for life.
What’s not covered: normal wear and tear (scratches, patina, oxidation), chemical damage, impact-related stone loss, theft, or alterations made by jewelers outside of Bohemi. Major stone loss isn’t covered under warranty, but we’ll provide all the documentation you need to get full protection through independent jewelry insurance
Are Bohemi’s diamonds really conflict-free and ethically sourced?
Yes. Every Bohemi diamond is conflict-free and sourced from trusted suppliers who comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS)—and we go beyond that standard. We work only with partners who ensure fair labor practices (safe working conditions, fair wages, no child labor), and we prioritize the use of recycled metals to reduce environmental impact. We also offer lab-grown diamonds for a transparent, sustainable alternative, and feature Montana sapphires and stones cut by master lapidaries for traceability and artistry
What if my center stone gets damaged or lost?
Our warranty does not cover the loss or damage of center stones due to impact, wear, or accident. That’s why we strongly recommend independent jewelry insurance. We provide all invoices, photos, and certifications needed so you can easily insure your piece through your homeowner’s policy or a specialized jewelry insurer like Jeweler’s Mutual.
Do you certify all diamonds and gemstones?
We provide GIA certification for natural diamonds one carat and larger, and IGI certification for lab-grown diamonds one carat and larger. For stones under one carat, we include an invoice with all essential details: carat weight, cut, color, clarity, origin (if known), and replacement value.
For non-traditional stones like salt-and-pepper diamonds or sapphires, certification is not always standard, but we can arrange grading upon request (with additional cost and timeline).
How does Bohemi ensure quality before shipping my engagement ring?
Every ring is carefully inspected, cleaned, polished and photographed before leaving our studio. We check prong security, stone settings, and finish quality to ensure your piece meets Bohemi’s high craftsmanship standards. Only after passing this inspection does your engagement ring ship, along with supporting documentation and professional photographs.
Can I bring my heirloom stone for a custom design?
Absolutely. We love breathing new life into heirloom stones by incorporating them into new, meaningful designs. Our team will evaluate your heirloom gem to ensure it’s suitable for resetting, and then work with you to design a piece that honors both its history and your story.
