Emerald Cut Champagne Diamond S&P Engagement Ring

Emerald Cut Champagne Diamond S&P Engagement Ring
|by Heather Ng

Tjaden began working with us last year with a clear vision: she wanted a custom engagement ring that reflected her adventurous spirit and her love for understated yet meaningful design. One of the first things she did was bring in a collection of scrap gold to recycle into store credit — a thoughtful way to repurpose materials and put them toward something truly special.

From the start, Tjaden was drawn to the elegance of emerald-cut stones and the warm, earthy beauty of champagne diamonds. She looked through many of the stones we had in our collection, but ultimately we wanted to find something that felt one-of-a-kind for her. Every year we travel to the Tucson Gem Show, where all of our trusted vendors from around the world gather, giving us access to an incredible selection of gems. There, we sourced a stunning cognac-colored emerald-cut diamond for Tjaden, rich with depth and saturation — the perfect centerpiece for her vision.

An avid horsewoman and outdoor enthusiast, Tjaden wanted her ring to feel low-profile and practical without losing its sense of artistry. She envisioned a piece that was classic with a touch of edge, and the design came together beautifully. Tiny claw prongs hold the center diamond, and we added ombré salt-and-pepper baguette diamonds in secure bar settings, giving the ring a subtle gradient of moody sparkle. To finish the design, we incorporated east-west set tapered white baguettes that framed the center stone and tied the whole look together with a modern yet timeless feel.

The result is a ring full of nuance and personality — warm tones, geometric lines, and just the right amount of intrigue. It’s a perfect reflection of Tjaden herself: elegant, grounded, and unafraid to make her own path.

Congratulations Tjaden & Tyson! We're so excited for you.
