Bi-Color Sapphire, Oval 3.89ct
This is a natural bi-color fuchsia and maroon sapphire, an oval-cut center stone of 3.89 carats measuring 10.35 by 8.10mm, mined in Winza, Tanzania. Its color moves between raspberry fuchsia and deep maroon, a genuinely uncommon look for a sapphire. Heather and her team hand-selected this stone in Boulder, Colorado for its color and life.
Sapphire sits at Mohs 9, hard enough for everyday wear and the backbone of Bohemi's work. Diamond at 10 is harder, since the Mohs scale is not linear, but a sapphire at 9 is genuinely everyday-durable. The only treatment Bohemi ever uses on sapphire is heat, and it is always disclosed.
Bohemi does not sell loose stones. This sapphire is set into an engagement ring or a custom piece, and the $3,580 price is the starting point for the ring you build with Heather. Explore the full range of engagement rings.
