The Sagitta Wedding Band is a bold 5mm solid band engraved with feather texture and detailed with a beaded spine. Bohemi lists it as a rustic alternative engagement ring, and it is all about presence, symbolism, and story. Choose the finish, matte, satin or shiny, and that choice changes how the carving reads on the hand.

It comes in 14k gold in yellow, white or rose, 18k gold in those same three colors, or platinum. The metal is cast from reclaimed scrap, and the band is made for stacking and for celebrating your own journey.

Because the pattern is carved into the outside of a solid band, the inside stays open, so a custom engraving can go in there. It can be resized later, which takes about two weeks. Know this before you order: once a ring has been resized it is final sale and cannot be returned. Want help choosing your band, or dreaming up a custom design? Reach out. We will walk you through stones, textures, heirloom ideas, and the details that make a ring yours. Start with a custom inquiry, or see the rest of the engagement rings.

Fairmined gold is available on request at a premium. More on where the metal comes from.

How you wear it	What that looks like	Choose it when
As your wedding band	A solid 5mm band with its own carved pattern, so it does not need a stone to carry the ring	You want the band itself to be doing something rather than deferring to a center stone
Stacked	Bohemi calls it perfect for stacking. At 5mm it leads a stack rather than filling it in	You are building a set over time and want one band to anchor it
As an alternative engagement ring	Bohemi's own description of this piece. The feather carving does the work a center stone usually does	You do not want a stone at all, and you want the ring itself to be the statement

What is the carved feather texture and the beaded spine?

They are the two things worked into the surface of the band. The feather texture is engraved into a solid 5mm of metal, and the beaded spine is the detail running with it. Neither is set with stones, so the pattern is part of the band itself, and the finish you choose, matte, satin or shiny, changes how much of it you see.

Can it be engraved if the outside is already carved?

Yes. The feather texture is on the outside of the band, which leaves the inside open for a custom engraving. That is the usual place for a date or initials on this band, since the outside is already carrying the pattern. Tell us what you want engraved when you order.

Is this a band for a bride or for a groom?

Either. Bohemi wrote it for the free spirit bride or groom, and there is no separate men's and women's version. There is one width, 5mm, and one set of metal choices, so what changes between two people wearing it is the size and the finish.

What metals does it come in, and what changes the price?

Seven choices, and metal is the only option on this listing. Those are 14k gold in yellow, white or rose, 18k gold in the same three colors, and platinum. All of the gold is cast from reclaimed scrap.

How long does it take to make?

About 3 to 4 weeks. The band is made to order and the feather texture is part of the making, so plan on the full window rather than the short end of it. If you have a date to hit, put it in the notes at checkout and tell us when you need it by. A shorter timeline is often possible at no extra cost, and when it is not, rush fees may apply. See the FAQ page for how rush pricing works.

Can it be resized later?

Yes, and it takes about two weeks. This is a solid band with no stones set around it, so a resize works normally here. The rule that travels with it: once a ring has been resized it is final sale and cannot be returned. If you are unsure of your size, ask us before you order rather than after.
