The Nyx setting is Bohemi's witchy engagement ring, designed for the modern mystic who rejects tradition in favor of symbolism and shadow play. An elongated hexagon center is framed by two white triangle diamonds, with a shimmering trail of accent stones running along the harlequin patterned band. The triangles point upward, a sign of strength and ascension, and the whole thing is built low profile so the sparkle comes from every angle rather than from height.

This listing is the setting, not a finished ring. You choose the metal, 14k or 18k in yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum, and whether the triangle and round side stones are lab diamonds or natural diamonds. The Nyx is pictured in 14k yellow gold with a shiny high-polish finish. The center stone is separate, picked from Bohemi's stone catalog, sourced for you, or sent to us as your own heirloom stone.

Choose the setting when you want your own stone in Heather's design. If you would rather have this design already made, the finished Nyx listing is the same ring built around a salt and pepper diamond, the stone her symbolism notes describe as the beauty of imperfection. A setting built around a stone from the catalog takes 4 to 6 weeks. If Heather is sourcing a stone for you, allow 6 to 8. Explore the full range of engagement rings, or pair this with the Nyx Contour Wedding Ring.

All Bohemi gold is cast from grain produced from reclaimed scrap by our refiner that reclaims existing jewelry, and Fairmined gold is available on request at a premium. More on where the metal comes from.

What comes with the Nyx setting?

The setting only: the harlequin patterned band, the two white triangle diamonds that frame the center, and the round accent stones trailing along the band. The center stone is chosen separately, either from Bohemi's stone catalog or sourced for you. You can also send us your own heirloom stone, and we ask that you reach out first so we can check it against the design.

What center stone does the Nyx take?

It is drawn around an elongated hexagon, held between the two triangle diamonds. Heather also offers a black diamond swap, and heirloom stones are welcome. If you want a shape other than the elongated hexagon, contact the studio before you order so she can tell you how it will sit between the triangles.

Which metals is the Nyx made in?

14k or 18k gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. The Nyx is pictured in 14k yellow gold with a shiny high-polish finish, and white or rose gold and platinum are the other routes Heather names for this design.

How long does the Nyx setting take to make?

4 to 6 weeks when the hexagon center stone comes from Bohemi's stone catalog, and 6 to 8 weeks when Heather is sourcing a stone for you. If you have a date to hit, put it in the notes at checkout and tell us when you need it by. A shorter timeline is often possible at no extra cost, and when it is not, rush fees may apply. See the FAQ page for how rush pricing works.

Can the Nyx setting be resized later, and can I return it after that?

Yes. Resizing the Nyx setting takes about 2 weeks. One thing to know before you do it: once a ring has been resized it is final sale and cannot be returned. If you are not certain of your size, ask for a wax mold of the Nyx to try on before the ring goes into production and you can skip the resize altogether.

How is this different from the finished Nyx engagement ring?

This listing is the setting, so the center is yours to choose. The finished Nyx listing is the same design already built around a salt and pepper diamond center. Choose the setting when you want the harlequin band and the triangle diamonds around a stone of your own.
