This dreamy 2mm band carries five graduated sapphires, available in nearly every color under the sun. Create an ombre palette, a meaningful birthstone gradient, or let Heather help you select the hues that speak to your journey. It is a contour band, so the arc is cut to curve around the ring you already wear rather than to sit beside it in a straight line.

The color is yours to decide and it does not move the price. The metal does: $2,130 in 14k white, yellow or rose gold, and $2,560 in 18k or platinum. A five-color rainbow costs the same as five stones in one shade. Each sapphire is responsibly sourced and hand-set in your chosen metal. If you would like a rainbow or an ombre, let us know in the notes at checkout which specific colors you want, and in what order.

On a nesting band, your ring size settles only half of the fit. The curve is drawn to match our knife-edge solitaires. If your engagement ring came from another collection or another maker, send a photo before you order and Heather will tell you honestly whether the arc will meet it. Resizing takes about 2 weeks, and a resized ring is final sale and cannot be returned, so when the size is not certain, ask for a wax mold before anything goes into production. Pair it with the Sagitta knife-edge sapphire solitaire, ask about something outside these options through custom inquiries, or see the rest of the engagement rings.

All Bohemi gold is cast from grain produced from reclaimed scrap by a West Coast refiner that reclaims existing jewelry, and Fairmined gold is available on request at a premium. More on where the metal comes from.

How do I tell you which sapphire colors I want?

Put them in the notes at checkout. List all five in the order you want them to sit along the arc, and if you are building a birthstone gradient, say which color stands for whom so the sequence comes out right. If you would rather talk the palette through before you order, ask and Heather will help you select the hues.

Does a rainbow or an ombre cost more than a single color?

No. The price on this band is set by the metal alone: $2,130 in 14k white, yellow or rose gold, and $2,560 in 18k or platinum. Five different colors, a graduated ombre and five stones in one shade all cost the same.

Will it nest against my engagement ring?

The curve is cut to match our knife-edge solitaires, so it sits against the Sagitta knife-edge sapphire and diamond solitaires as it was drawn to. If the ring you wear came from another collection or another maker, send us a photo before you order. Heather will tell you honestly whether the arc meets your shoulders or leaves a gap under the stones.

How long does it take once I have chosen my colors?

About 4 to 6 weeks. Five sapphires are selected in your colors and set to your metal and your size, so nothing is made until you have chosen. If you have a date to hit, put it in the notes at checkout alongside your colors and tell us when you need it by. A shorter timeline is sometimes possible at no extra cost, and when it is not, rush fees may apply. See the FAQ page for how rush pricing works.

Can the sapphire contour band be resized?

Yes, and it takes about 2 weeks. Once a ring has been resized it cannot be returned, it is final sale. If your size is not settled, ask for a wax mold before anything goes into production, wear it at home for a few days next to the ring it will nest against, and tell us the size you land on.

Can it be engraved?

No. Five sapphires sit across the face of a 2mm band, and there is no clear stretch of metal left to cut an inscription into. If you want an engraved band in the same collection, the plain Sagitta wedding band carries no stones and can be engraved.
