The Sagitta diamond contour band is a 2mm smooth rectangular band set with five graduated white diamonds, arched to hug your Sagitta solitaire. It is sleek, luminous, and intentionally low-profile for comfort, which on a nesting band is the whole point: it has to sit against another ring all day without fighting it.

You choose the diamonds, natural or lab-grown white, and the metal, 14k or 18k in yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. The band runs $2,000 to $2,660. Worth knowing before you pick: on this band the metal moves the price more than the diamonds do. Natural instead of lab-grown adds $180 to $200. Stepping from 14k up to 18k or platinum adds $460 to $480. Gold is cast from grain produced from reclaimed scrap, and the diamonds are sourced through Kimberley Process compliant channels.

This is a nesting band, so your ring size is only half the fit question. The arch is drawn as a soft curve to match our knife-edge solitaires. If the ring you already wear came from another collection or another maker, send a photo before you order and Heather will tell you straight whether the curve will meet it. It can be resized, which takes about 2 weeks, but a resized ring is final sale and cannot be returned, so if there is any doubt about size or fit, ask for a wax mold before anything goes into production. What comes with this band?

Five graduated white diamonds set into a 2mm smooth rectangular band, in the diamond type and metal you select. It is a contour band, so it is shaped to sit against an engagement ring rather than to stand in for one. There is no center stone.

Will it sit flush against my Sagitta solitaire?

Yes. The arch is cut to hug our knife-edge solitaires, so it nests against the Sagitta knife-edge diamond solitaire and the sapphire version of the same ring. If your engagement ring came from another collection or another maker, send us a photo before you order and Heather will tell you honestly whether the curve will meet it.

When will my contour band be ready?

About 4 to 6 weeks, because it is made to order in your diamond, your metal and your size. If you have a date to hit, put it in the notes at checkout and tell us when you need it by. Can it be resized later on?

Yes, and it takes about 2 weeks. One thing to know first: once a ring has been resized it cannot be returned, it is final sale. If you are not certain of your size, or of how the arch will sit against the ring you already wear, ask for a wax mold before anything goes into production, wear it at home for a few days, and tell us the size you settle on.

Can it be engraved?

No. The five diamonds run across the face of a 2mm band, so there is no clear stretch of metal to cut an inscription into. If an engraved band matters to you, the plain Sagitta wedding band carries no stones and can be engraved.

Does choosing natural or lab-grown change the price much?

Less than you might expect here. Natural white diamonds add $180 to $200 over lab-grown, while moving from 14k up to 18k gold or platinum adds $460 to $480. On a five-stone 2mm band the metal is the bigger lever, which is not true of every ring we make.
