Zach & Bella: An Ombré Garden to Frame a Purple Sapphire

After finding the most gorgeous purple Montana sapphire for Bella’s engagement ring, it was time to design her wedding band.

Bella’s Band: Color, Curated

Bella knew she wanted sapphires to frame her standout solitaire— the only question was ombré or solid color. We tested dozens of combinations and landed on a nuanced ombré: reddish purples, lavender, and pinkish orange. Each hue was chosen to echo tones inside her center stone, so the band compliments the sapphire without competing with its brilliance. The effect is soft, romantic color that feels intentional from every angle.

Zach’s Band: Classic, Architectural Calm

Zach chose our best-selling Artifex 5 mm band in 14k yellow gold with a satin finish—clean lines, great hand feel, and quietly confident on the hand. It’s the perfect counterpoint to Bella’s color-forward stack.

The Set

Together, their rings tell a single story: her ombré “petals” circling a vivid purple bloom; his sculptural band grounding the look with warmth and balance. Distinctive, personal, and effortlessly them.
