Mixed Shape Diamond White Gold Wedding Band & Sterling Artifex

Matt & Michelle: Heirloom Sparkle for a Destination “I Do”
Michelle and Matt stopped in to choose wedding bands for their upcoming destination wedding. Michelle already had a beautiful heirloom engagement ring with a high Tiffany-style setting and wanted a straight band that would sit flush against it.
Michelle’s Band: Heirloom Alchemy
She brought heirloom platinum pieces to repurpose. We:
-
Removed the round melee diamonds from her family jewelry,
-
Melted the old ring shank for store credit, and
-
Set the heirloom diamonds into a new band designed to nest cleanly against her engagement ring.
We’d just finished a mixed-shape stacking band for another client, and Michelle loved the idea. Mixed-diamond bands are perfect when you’re pulling stones from multiple heirlooms—different sizes and shapes become a cohesive, custom pattern. The result is a flush-fit, mixed-shape diamond band that turns her family history into an everyday sparkle fest (the elegant kind).
Matt’s Band: A Low-Risk Test Drive
Matt was new to jewelry and unsure about wearing a ring 24/7—or how confident he’d be keeping track of it. A smart first step before investing in gold or platinum is sterling silver. Our Artifex 5 mm band looks fantastic in silver, and we can oxidize it black for a moodier, architectural vibe. It gives new ring-wearers time to get comfortable without the stress. The Set
Side by side, their choices felt effortlessly coordinated—Michelle’s heirloom-forward sparkle paired with Matt’s understated Artifex band. Most importantly, Michelle now wears both an engagement ring and a wedding band set with her family’s diamonds—a fresh design with the warmth of history.
Congratulations, Matt & Michelle!
