Maggie chose her fiancé’s engagement ring with us a few years ago—now it was her turn. She brought in a sentimental sapphire and diamond ring set in sterling silver. We reclaimed the stones and reimagined the piece: created a fresh CAD, reinforced the side walls, swapped rounded prongs for claw prongs, and recast it in 14k white gold with a crisp rhodium finish. The change was instant—the sapphire, which used to read much darker, now looks bright and lively. Amazing what the right metal, architecture, and a professional clean can do.
