Jayme’s Wave-Inspired Blue Lab Diamond Ring

Jayme & Malcolm reached out online to explore design options and later met with us in Boulder while visiting from Aspen. She knew she wanted a blue center stone, originally considering Paraiba tourmaline, but because it’s a softer gem and she lives a very active lifestyle, we recommended a more durable option. She chose a vivid lab-grown blue diamond, with a color and sparkle reminiscent of clear alpine lakes.

Inspired by her love of water—and an upcoming month-long river trip in the Amazon—we designed a 14k white gold split shank that flows into a wave-like shape around the oval blue diamond, with asymmetrical pavé accents for added sparkle.

Malcolm proposed to Jayme while hiking the Four Pass Loop near Aspen, surprising her at Buckskin Pass. The setting was the perfect match for a ring designed around movement, water, and adventure.
