Citrine is the birthstone for November, along with Topaz. Topaz can come in blue or a yellow/orange whereas citrine is usually an ambery orange. Jon got his wife Toni a 14k rose gold peridot sunrise ring to honor the birth of their first child who was born in August. For mother's day this year he surprised her with a 14k rose gold sunrise ring with Citrine to honor their second child's birth month, November. The deep orange yellow of Citrine is such a lovely compliment to the spring green of peridot. She'll be wearing these rings as a set on the same finger and I think they play off each other nicely, what a sweet homage to your children and what an awesome gift from Dad!
