The Artifex Thin Wedding Band is the 3mm version of our wide ceremonial band. It carries the same faceted surfaces, cut so they catch the light just enough to feel alive, but never flashy. At 3mm it is built to stack, and it holds up worn on its own.

There is only one choice to make on this listing, and it is the metal. 14k or 18k gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. Finish is yours too, satin, matte, or high polish, and each one changes how hard those facets throw light. There is no stone in this band, which is the whole idea, but there is a diamond version of the same 3mm profile if you want one.

Two things follow from this being plain metal. It can be engraved on the inside, and it can be resized, about 2 weeks for a standard resize. One thing to know before you order: once a ring has been resized it is final sale and cannot be returned. So settle the size first, and ask us if you are between two. Does this band have diamonds in it?

No. This listing is plain metal, faceted, with nothing set into it. What catches the light is the cut of the surfaces, not a stone. If you want the same 3mm profile with diamonds, we make that as a separate band, and it takes longer to build and cannot be engraved.

How is this different from the Artifex Wide band?

Width, and nothing else about the idea. This one is 3mm, the wide band is 5mm, and both carry the same faceted surfaces. People often buy the thin one to stack and the wide one to wear alone.

Can a 3mm band be engraved?

Yes. Nothing is set into this band, so the inside is open the whole way around. It is a narrow band, so send us the text you want when you order and we will confirm it fits before anything is cut.

How long does it take to make?

Can it be resized later?

Is it strong enough to wear every day at 3mm?
