Turquoise Mountain Bolo Slide

A speckled Turquoise Mountain cabochon from Nevada is framed in twisted Sterling Silver wire and paired with the leather bolo cord and sterling silver tips of your choosing! The bolo measures 1" across at the widest point and just under 1.5" top to bottom.

This bolo looks especially good with the early American (shown in picture), light brown and dark brown leathers.

How to choose Bolo tie length: Most people prefer the cord ends to reach about 3 to 4 inches below the base of the sternum or breastbone (this includes the tips attached). Take a flexible measuring tape wrap it around your neck and then pinch it together where the bolo would be (that will eat up some length).

People under 6 feet tall with an average build usually need cords of 36 to 38 inches in length and taller individuals or those with larger body builds usually need cords that are 40 to 42 inches in length (this includes tips attached).

If you're getting a bolo for a specific suit, please try the suit on and see where you'd like the bolo tips to lay, either under the lapels or above them. The length is up to you.
