This 1.74-carat natural pink sapphire measures 7.5 x 6.5mm and was mined in Nivitigala, Sri Lanka, a region long known for its colored sapphires. Cut as a classic oval, its soft pink color reads clearly in daylight and sits ready as a center stone. At $1,570, this sapphire is priced to become the center stone of an engagement ring or a custom design.
Sapphire is a 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond, which makes it an excellent choice for a ring worn every day.
