The Olympia wedding band is a straight band set with 17 French pavé diamonds that shimmer three-quarters around it, catching light with every movement while staying low-profile for comfort. It is approximately 3mm wide, crafted in 14k, 18k or platinum, and finished in high polish, satin or matte. It blends with classic engagement rings and alternative bridal sets alike, and it stacks against high profile rings without fighting them.

Two choices set the price. The stones come as lab grown diamonds, natural diamonds, or salt and pepper diamonds for an edgier take on a classic band. The metal comes as 14k yellow, white or rose gold, 18k yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum, and stepping up from 14k adds about $800 whichever stone you pick. Across the full grid the band runs $3,430 to $5,000. Listed sizes are 4 to 8, and if you need a size outside that, ask. If you would rather have colored gemstones set instead of diamonds, or you want heirloom diamonds used in this style, that is a custom piece and it gets quoted for you.

This band can be resized, and once a ring has been resized it is final sale. A standard resize takes about 2 weeks, so it is worth getting the size right before the band is made rather than after. What am I choosing when I order the Olympia band?

Three things. The stones, as lab grown diamonds, natural diamonds, or salt and pepper diamonds. The metal, as 14k or 18k yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. And the finish, as high polish, satin or matte. Whichever way you go, it is the same design: 17 French pavé diamonds set three-quarters around a band of approximately 3mm. How long does the Olympia band take to make?

About 4 to 6 weeks, because it is made to your stone, metal and finish rather than pulled from a drawer. Can the Olympia band be resized?

Yes. A standard resize takes about 2 weeks. One thing to know before you send it back: once a ring has been resized it cannot be returned, so it becomes final sale. Listed sizes run 4 to 8 and we can make sizes outside that, so it is cheaper and simpler to order the right size than to correct one later. If you are unsure, order a ring sizer before you order the band.

Can I have the Olympia band engraved?

No. Engraving is not offered on the bands that carry stones, and the Olympia is one of them. If an engraved band matters to you, the plain metal bands without stones can be engraved, so ask and we will point you at the ones that work.

Why do the salt and pepper diamonds come without a grading report?

Because there is no grade to issue. The 4C scale assumes a colorless, eye-clean stone, and a salt and pepper diamond is neither by design: the black and white inclusions are the whole reason you want it. So these are sold on how they look rather than on a report, and they sit $230 above the lab grown option and below the natural white diamonds. All of the diamonds used, salt and pepper included, are sourced through Kimberley Process compliant channels.

Will it sit right against my engagement ring?

It is a straight band, built to pair with high profile rings, including solitaires holding colored sapphires or unusual diamond cuts. It is made to pair with the Olympia engagement ring. If your engagement ring is low profile or has a shaped gallery, send a photo before you order and you will get an honest answer on whether a straight band will sit flush or whether a contour band suits it better.
