Sapphire Lozenge 0.55ct
This Montana sapphire is a 0.55 carat lozenge, step-cut in a teal green that shifts between blue and green as the light moves across it. It measures 7.77 by 5.94mm, a natural stone from Montana, one of the few places in the world where sapphires can carry mine-level traceability back to the ground they came out of.
At Mohs 9, sapphire is the backbone of Bohemi's work and genuinely everyday-durable, with essentially zero durability issues in daily wear. Diamond at Mohs 10 is harder in absolute terms, the Mohs scale is not linear, but a 9 holds up beautifully for a ring you reach for every day. The only treatment ever used on these stones is heat, and it is always disclosed.
Heather and her team hand-select every stone at Bohemi's studio in Boulder, Colorado. Bohemi does not sell loose stones: this sapphire is set into an engagement ring or a custom piece, and the $415 price is the starting point for the ring. Explore the full range of engagement rings.
