This 1.64 carat parti sapphire pairs yellow and blue in a single stone, hand-cut into an elongated hexagon star fantasy cut here in Colorado by Brett Kosnar. A parti sapphire carries more than one color at once, so the face shifts between warm yellow and cool blue as the light moves. The concave precision faceting is what gives this cut its even brightness, holding steady from many angles rather than flattening when you tilt your hand.
