This is the Artifex solitaire in warm metal. A 1.45ct green hexagon-cut Montana sapphire is bezel-set in satin-finished 14k yellow gold with a round natural diamond halo, flanked by channel-set natural white diamonds along the shank. Green sapphire against yellow gold is a softer pairing than blue would be, and the ring reads more like sculpture than sparkle.

The thick-walled bezel is designed to sit high. The stone clears the finger by enough that a straight sided Artifex band nestles underneath, which is how the bridal set ends up reading as a single architectural piece. Heather built it for the person who wants clean lines and thoughtful symmetry rather than a halo of noise.

It was made once, around a stone that cannot be found again. Montana green comes out of the ground in its own shade every time, and 1.45ct in a hexagon cut is not something to be reordered. Which band tucks under the bezel?

Either Artifex band. The Artifex Wide Wedding Band gives the set more metal and a heavier line, and the Artifex Thin Wedding Band keeps the green hexagon as the focus. Both are straight sided, which is what lets them sit flush against the raised bezel.

Can it be resized, and what happens to returns if it is?

It can, and a resize on this band takes about 2 weeks. Once a ring has been resized it becomes final sale and cannot be returned, so it is worth being certain first. Heather would rather mail you a wax mold to try on than resize a finished gold ring, and you only have to ask.
