Montana Sapphire Oval 1.61ct
This is a natural green and blue Montana sapphire, oval brilliant cut, weighing 1.61 carats and measuring 6.30 by 8mm. Its teal-leaning green and blue color comes from a stone mined in Montana, in the United States, one of the few origins that can carry traceability back to the region it came from.
Sapphire is a 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, which makes it genuinely durable for everyday wear and the backbone of Bohemi's engagement ring work. Diamond at 10 is harder, since the scale is not linear, but a sapphire at 9 stands up to daily life beautifully. Heather and her team in Boulder, Colorado hand-select every stone, and the only treatment ever used on Bohemi sapphires is heat, always disclosed.
Bohemi does not sell loose stones. This sapphire is set into an engagement ring or a custom piece, and the $3,200 price is the starting point for that ring. Explore the full range of engagement rings.
