Moonstone - Pear - 2.24ct
This rainbow moonstone is a 2.24 carat pear, measuring 10 by 7mm, with the blue and white flash that moonstone is loved for. Priced at $1,180, it was mined in Madagascar and hand-selected by Heather and her team in Boulder, Colorado.
Here is the honest part, because Heather will never be anything but straight with you: moonstone is a softer stone, around 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, so it is more delicate than a sapphire or a diamond and asks for gentle, thoughtful care. Plenty of people love moonstone and choose it happily knowing that trade-off, drawn to its glow. If your hands are very active, Heather will talk it through with you in your consultation and may steer you toward a harder stone, because she would rather you have a ring you never have to worry about.
Bohemi does not sell loose stones on their own. This moonstone is set into a custom piece designed with you. Reach out to Heather and her team to see it in person in Boulder, or explore the full range of engagement rings.
