Dana came to me wanting a surprise ring for his girlfriend. He wanted something with a heavier architectural feeling. A very modern ring, and not using a diamond as the center stone. I sourced this beautiful Columbian emerald that had a depth and cut that seemed perfect for this ring. We went with flanking diamond baguettes and set everything in thick bezels. We made the ring in 18k yellow gold for a bit more saturation, especially since the ring was matte. It was a successful surprise, his girlfriend loved it!
