A Love Written in the Stars: Jules & Sam’s Custom Stellaris Wedding Set

Jules began visiting Bohemi shortly after we opened our doors, and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with her impeccable taste and radiant energy. Every time she walked in, she brought a little extra light with her. The first time she stopped by, it was with her longtime boyfriend, Sam — a couple whose connection runs as deep as it gets.

A Love That Never Needed a Beginning

Jules and Sam’s story started in Pennsylvania, where their parents were close friends and the two grew up just six minutes apart. They met in kindergarten, became childhood best friends, and even “dated” in sixth grade — a relationship that, technically, was never broken off. 

Years later, in 2019, fate brought them back together, and this time, they both knew it was forever. Their families were overjoyed — the kind of love story everyone around them had always not-so-quietly rooted for.

Soon after, they made the move to Colorado together, building a new life surrounded by mountains, adventure, and community.

A Celestial Vision

From the start, Jules knew what she wanted her wedding set to feel like — something celestial, mystical, and unapologetically her. She absolutely needed her ring to be different; Jules is not an oval solitaire gal. She was drawn to our Stellaris Collection, captivated by its symbolism of stars, connection, and the quiet magic that binds two souls.

She’s particular about her palette (in the best possible way): earth tones, greens, oranges, and blacks — but never blue. With that vision in mind, we went on a gemstone hunt worthy of her aesthetic: searching for the perfect orange sapphire with a hint of green that would bring her vision to life. We also swapped all the white diamonds for champagne diamonds to give her rings some added richness.

The Perfect Proposal

When the time came, Sam asked Jules to marry him in the most fitting way possible — on one of their favorite hikes, surrounded by the crisp colors and quiet magic of Colorado autumn.  Her (obviously) favorite season, their favorite trail, and a love story decades in the making.
