Like this design with its inspiration in hieroglyphics and ancient pottery, so much of the modern world is influenced by the Egyptians and Greco-Romans. Hathor, after which this ring is designed, is the goddess of sky, women, fertility, and love. She is the primeval goddess from which all others were derived.
