I’ve been jumping up and down waiting to show you this collection that is inspired by all things aves. I love feathers, they just never get old for me, especially because there are so many interpretations within design that you can do with them. The possibilities really are endless and I played around with shapes and texture and of course different materials. My feather leather earrings are a best-seller at every retail show I do. I source the leather from Italian tanneries, recycled luxury jackets and my bagmaker friend’s scraps. They are the summer’s hottest statement piece! Look for new fall styles to complement all those fall pantone colors in September. What do you think of this collection? Can you see yourself in the pretty colors of this summers plummage? Hello Bohemi friends! So we here at Bohemi take but one break a year, and the Xmas/New Year time is it. Anything labeled out of stock, will not be able to be purchased until January 10th. Anything that is in stock will ship normally. If you are in a pinch you can order priority or express to get it there on time. January 10th we will resume all custom, made-to-order, and replenish out-of-stock items. Thank you for your continued support! We are super excited to finally have our Fall Lookbook campaign photos, here’s a peak! We chose our model Sarah Loven because she is such a Bohemian goddess and regularly does shoots for such boho chic companies like Spell Designs, For Love and Lemons, and many more. We thought her vibe was perfect for our new collection. Let us know what you think of all of them by going here to see the complete Lookbook.
This past summer Bohemi teamed up with a handful of talented local Boulder-Denver Colorado wedding vendors to create a Gypsy Mountain themed wedding. Needless to say, it was super fun. Here are some pics that showcase Bohemi jewelry, everything you see are items we have for sale or one-of-a-kinds that have sold. Below are the links to the awesome vendors and what each contributed. The thing about mountain weddings is that you never know what the weather will do, but that’s part of the experience, and it’s what makes Colorado girls such a hardy bunch. You’ve gotta be on your toes. Luckily we were graced with beautiful skies. What do you think about a mountain wedding? I started making cufflinks a few years ago. I’m a sucker for men who wear shirts that require cufflinks. For many reasons, one being that they choose to have an accessory, I see so many men that wear zero accessories, choosing one is better than none. Men’s bracelets is one of the fastest growing markets in accessories. It’s hot people, it’s in demand, and quite frankly, it’s overdue. I get my choice of every kind of jewelry out there but men don’t get a wide range, and most men I know are not brave enough to wear jewelry. I wanna change that. It was a tough gear change to do men’s but I’m happy with my first line. What it came down to in my creative process was whatever I would do for women, scale it back 300%. Clean modern lines, simple shapes, unfussy. Here are some shots from my recent product shoot. You can see more under the Lookbook page, or visit the Shop page and peruse everything that’s up for sale. Got any ideas or feedback? I’d love to hear it!
In my head I always thought a stylist would be the best and easiest job in the world. Boy, was I mistaken. Here is my first foray into shooting some product photography so you can see the size of my pieces on a human! A million thank you’s to Michelle L. for being so patient and pretty. A surprise visit from Hillary P. helped a lot with changing out the jewels and just being so rad with my 3 yr old asking a thousand questions.
