She’ll be bringing more dresses, jumpsuits and fabulous sparkly things you can deck yourself out in for all those partays! Our wonderful neighbor byelke will be doing a Holiday Open House with ceramicist Paige Blackburn from 4pm-7pm as well, so you could say it’s a block party! See you there…
It’s here again! Our annual trek to the mountains to cool off in the mountain air, stretch our city legs and get down to slinging jewels. If you will be in the Roaring Fork Valley July 26, 27, and 28th we cannot say enough wonderful things about our favorite fair of the year. It takes place in Sopris Park in downtown Carbondale for three days. This year we will have a double booth, and we will be filling that booth to the brim with new pieces! Check it out for more info https://www.carbondalearts.com/mountain-fair/ and of course peep our Instagram @bohemijewelry where we will be posting on the daily.
We’re back at our favorite market! Horseshoe market has moved from the Tennyson neighborhood to the Mile High Stadium May 11th and 12th from 10-4pm. There will be over 200 amazing handmade, vintage and antique vendors from the front range. Come see us at booth 45 near the main tent. Also, we will be closed at our Boulder location Saturday May 11th.
This weekend September 15th-16th, Firefly Handmade and the Boulder Fall Fest once again join forces for an art tour de force! From 10th street all the way down to 15th on Pearl St. you can find local and national makers of all kinds slinging their wares. We’ll be between Fjallraven & The Kitchen on Pearl & 11th. This is our last show of 2018 as we’ll be directing all further customers to our new retail location at 2775 Valmont Rd Unit 2 (SE corner of The Rayback Collective). Hope to see you there!
Coming in hot for 2018! Literally, don’t forget to bring water. It’s been a scorcher up in those mountains. I just got back from a week in Crested Butte, and although stunning, as we traipsed all over the Western Slope we saw two fires, and a serious lack of rain. We’ll be doing a rain dance for the mountains and all those animals and people that depend on it. Which I suppose includes all us prairie folk downstream.
As we furiously pound out metal, wrap stones, and assemble jewels, we are also concocting new designs and bringing a fresh collection that screams summertime. We’ll be doing a mega sale as well, more deets to come. If you can’t come to Carbondale Mountain Fair, don’t worry, it will hit online the next week.
If you need more information you can find that on the Mountain Fair website: http://www.carbondalearts.com/mountain-fair/
See you there!
Join Bohemi and a slew of talented local Boulder makers as we take over Anthem Branding in downtown Boulder this Thursday July 12th from 4pm-8pm for the Makers’ Market.
There will be live music, a taco truck, and every kind of imaginable and amazing companies.
We’ll be slinging the jewels and dishing out the ceramics.
Our first event of the year is almost here. We will be slinging the jewels and ceramics at the Maker Pop-Up at the Rayback Collective off Valmont. Come out and shop some seriously amazing Boulder talent at this one day event. It’s the perfect time, right before Mother’s Day!
What: We’re seeking a 6 month intern for jewelry production. You don’t need to have experience in jewelry making, but you do need a passion for jewelry and a strong desire to learn the craft. 10 hours a week. Unpaid. Reviews at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months. We are willing to work with students that need an internship for school credit, but you must be enrolled in jewelry as a field of study, or an art major that wants to study jewelry but there isn’t an option at your current school. Internship is in our studio in Niwot, CO.
Who: You are VERY detail-oriented. We would say anal retentive. You see imperfections, they bother you, you want them fixed. You can’t complete it until it’s fixed, that’s how much it bothers you. You seek perfection. You can take direction well. You are open minded. You can work well with others. You are an enthusiastic self-starter. You work hard. Oh, and you LOVE jewelry.
Interning requires a lot of instruction and oversight on our part. If you are just wanting to pass the time and learn a hobby, this is not the internship for you. We would suggest checking out the Boulder Metalsmithing Association
for their classes. We are looking to teach someone who wants jewelry design to be their career.
A non-compete, non-disclosure must be signed before beginning. Depending on your proficiency there is the possibility for advancement in the future.
To apply email email@example.com with the following in the subject line: Intern (Your Name)
Then answer these 5 questions:
- List three strengths.
- List three weaknesses.

Add any other relevant info you may have about interning with us.
Have anything to show us? Maybe you dabble at home? Feel free to attach those images (no more than 5) or an IG feed to your email.

Ever been to an airplane hangar? Before this year I hadn’t either. But they sure did an amazing job of turning an old one into a magical hub of shopping and eating. I’ll be at True Holistic Boutique all day Saturday for my last show of the season. Come see me for last minute gifts, I’ve got lots of things under $100 and some super special pieces for those phenomenal women in your life.

Hello! Looking for an awesome event that is not at a mall, or a life-sucking-soul-crushing-big-box-corporate-store? Look no further this weekend November 25/26. The Horseshoe Craft & Flea Holiday Market is all weekend at the Masonic Temple in Denver. I’ll have ceramics and my new super limited-edition black and gold line. This is my only full stock retail show. Stay tuned for a December 9th Trunkshow at True in the Stanley Marketplace.
This coming weekend is Fall Fest on Pearl St. as well as Firefly Handmade Market. I’ll be slinging the fancy jewels and lovely ceramics in front of West Flanders and American Apparel on the 1100 Block of Pearl St. between Broadway and 11th. Cruise the mall and stop at the iconic Boulder Bookstore, grab lunch at one of my all-time faves Hapa, and then fully satiated with knowledge and grub come visit me for your seasonal jewelry upgrade.
My favorite time of the year is July in the mountains! It’s sooo hot on the Front Range with temps going to 100 that getting out and going up to the mountains with my little family is the highlight of the summer. There’s this perfect intersection of art and community in Carbondale and it really makes it one of the most special shows I do all year. I’ll be vending Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7/28-7/30. If you’re in the mountains come check out this gem of a show! http://www.carbondalearts.com/mountain-fair/
I’m super excited to be traveling up to Aspen this coming weekend July 22-23 to set-up shop at the Downtown Aspen Art Festival. My husband grew up in Aspen in its heyday in the 1970’s. I can only imagine what it would be like to grow up in such a beautiful spot! One thing I know is that everyone somehow manages to be an epic skier. Go figure. This East coast girl cannot compete. BUT, jewelry has no bounds! I’ll be bringing all three of my collections, lots of new rings, and of course, earrings, earrings, earrings. Hope to see you in a little place called…Aspen 😉
